Angel's Super Sealing Sticks- Tips and Techniques

  1. You can color imprinted images with metallic rub-ons or any kind of marker or ink. However, Wonder Sticks are not absorbent and you need to be careful not to smudge it. Putting a coat or two of clear acrylic coating on your artwork will protect it. See projects samples (rose3.htm or turtle.htm)
  2. You can also color images with Pearl Ex. (turtle.htm)
  3. You can shape or smooth out the Wonder Stick by simply blowing on it with your heat gun.
  4. While the melted stick is still somewhat warm you can cut a shape out with scissors. Fiskars work great. (rose1.htm)
  5. You can also cut out a shape such as a heart or the outline of a stamp on thick paper ahead of time, then melt the stick on it and stamp. (rose2.htm) 5. If your art work should crack simply reheat and restamp the image if necessary. (face1.htm)
  6. You can melt two or more different colored Wonder Sticks together to created a marbled effect. Just use a toothpick, thin metal clay tool or knife to swirl them together. (dolphin.htm)
  7. Once an impression is made you can put Crystal Lacquer 3-D or Gallery Glass over it. . Deep impressions and Simple solid images work best for these effects. (3 examples)
