Angel's Super Sealing Sticks- Tips
and Techniques
- You can color imprinted images with metallic rub-ons or any kind of
marker or ink. However, Wonder Sticks are not absorbent and you need to
be careful not to smudge it. Putting a coat or two of clear acrylic coating
on your artwork will protect it. See projects samples (rose3.htm or turtle.htm)
- You can also color images with Pearl Ex. (turtle.htm)
- You can shape or smooth out the Wonder Stick by simply blowing on it
with your heat gun.
- While the melted stick is still somewhat warm you can cut a shape out
with scissors. Fiskars work great. (rose1.htm)
- You can also cut out a shape such as a heart or the outline of a stamp
on thick paper ahead of time, then melt the stick on it and stamp. (rose2.htm)
5. If your art work should crack simply reheat and restamp the image if
necessary. (face1.htm)
- You can melt two or more different colored Wonder Sticks together to
created a marbled effect. Just use a toothpick, thin metal clay tool or
knife to swirl them together. (dolphin.htm)
- Once an impression is made you can put Crystal Lacquer 3-D or Gallery
Glass over it. . Deep impressions and Simple solid images work best for
these effects. (3 examples)
- Glitter, glass beads, and Special FX can be mixed into the Wonder
Stick while melting.
- Art work made with Wonder Sticks is great for making pins and magnets
and for sealing envelopes.
