10-005P Japanese Entertainer 2
77C Red Flower Chiyogami Kimono Print Paper
MC22982 Small Black Asian Character on Tan
White Cardstock
Wooden Storage Box
Modge Podge
Stipple Brush
Clock Parts
4 Wooden Balls
Black & Sand Memories (archival dye) Ink
Permanent Black Marker
Assorted Colored Pencils & Gel Pens
Raffia & Spanish Moss
Double Stick Foam Tape
Sealant (Clear Spray Paint or Fixative)
Adhesive (super glue gel & E-6000 suggested)
Scissors

1. Cover front & sides of wooden storage box with Asian Text paper using Modge Podge.

2. Cover paper with Modge Podge & allow to dry.

3. Dye top & bottom of box with black Memories ink using DTP (direct to paper) technique.

4. Drill hole in box for clock works and attach self sticking clock face.

5. Assemble clock works, leaving hands off.

6. Stipple clock face using sand Memories Ink.

7. Attach circle of Chiyogami paper to inside circle of clock face.

8. Detail cut 77C Red Flower Chiyogami Kimono Print Paper to fit upper right & left hand corner of clock front overlapping clock face. Then, detail cut Chiyogami paper to fit across entire lower edge of clock front overlapping clock face

9. Stamp 10-005P Japanese Entertainer 2 with black Memories ink on white cardstock.

10. Color image with gel pens & colored pencils. Spray with several coats of clear spray paint, allowing each coat to dry in before applying next coat.

11. Attach some strips of raffia to lower left hand corner of clock front using super glue gel.

12. Attach Spanish moss across bottom of clock front using super glue gel.

13. Attach 10-005P Japanese Entertainer 2 prepared earlier to the clock front, slightly off center to the right, using double stick foam tape. Make sure you cover her feet slightly with the Spanish moss.

14. Color wooden balls with permanent black marker & seal with clear spray paint & allow to dry.

15. Attach color balls to bottom of clock box using E-6000 adhesive.

16. Spray entire box with several coats of clear spray paint, allowing each coat to dry in between coats.

17. Attach hands to clock.

18. Attach dragonfly charm to lower right hand corner of clock front using super glue gel.

You have hidden storage in the clock back....
that is if you buy the right kind of wooden box to make your clock with.
