White, Purple and Black Cardstock
Crayola Metallic and Normal colored Pencils

Yellow Elastic Tassel
1. Create 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" red orange card. Tear right side of top of
card down about 1/8-1/4" off.
2. Tear off small amount of white silk decorative paper (13-101) and
glue to top right of card.
3. Stamp in black Japanese girl on white cardstock.
4. Color in kimono with metallic Crayola colored pencils. Use normal
Crayola colored pencils to color in the rest of girl.
5. Stipple stamped image in gold.
6. Cut out rectangle around girl approximately 2 3/4" x 5"
and glue onto purple CS, trim around 1/8" bigger than stamped image. Then
layer onto black cardstock trimmed about 1/8" bigger than purple CS. Glue
to left of card.
7. Stamp Kanji character to bottom corner of image so that it will
show on the image and the cardstock layers.
8. Color around Kanji character in purple in a square (Tombow marker #685 was used).
9. Attach a yellow elastic tassel to spine of card.
